Liberation Treatment in India - Inspirational Story of Uzoma from Nigeria that Changed His Life
Liberation Treatment in India - In the mid-1990s, Uzoma
Pepple, Nigeria began to have difficulty walking up steps. I was admitted to
hospital and got my diagnosis of relapsing-remitting MS. Previously I had
recurrent transverse myelitis, blurry version, stiffness
and weakness in my legs, more lesions were found on my
brain hence the new diagnosis of MS. I found the next few months extremely
overwhelming, the whole process off reading up on medications, choosing the one
which would be best suited to me and knowing I could be taking it for the rest
of my life.”
Back in Nigeria, the
doctors said there was no cure to fix my problem. But a proper surgical
treatment was not available in the country. So we decided to look for options
outside the country and India was the best option as India is increasingly
becoming popular with Africans seeking medical treatment overseas, as cost of
Liberation Treatment in India more cheap, modern system and its tremendously
professional medical doctors.
Uzoma’s other options were the US and the UK;
however, health care there is extremely expensive and getting visas to those
countries is a nightmare, unlike with India cost of liberation treatment in India is very low, where permits are issued within a week and therapy
is comparatively cheap.
Uzoma’s family
desperately sought for treatments. Finally, they came across Dheeraj Bojwani consultant
over the internet. “I searched for some medical help on the internet, got to
know Dheeraj Bojwani consultant from there”, said his wife. After
dropping a query, although they got a response, they were still very sceptical.
After getting a response from Dheeraj Bojwani consultant, I shared my
medical reports and details regarding my ailment.
After a day or two, we were
recommended the best neurosurgeons in India and hospitals. Though we
went through their profiles, I wanted to talk to the surgeon over phone. Dheeraj Bojwani consultant arranged a
telephone conference for me, and after talking to the doctor twice over phone, he
suggested me to undergo liberation treatment
in India, he even spoke to my family doctor so that he could know
about my past medical condition. He was very reliable.
Dheeraj Bojwani
consultant supported them thoroughly and had arranged everything they
required for their Uzoma’s treatment.
“After talking to a few doctors we thought that it would be a good decision to get
treated in India. So, we arrived in September and the treatment started”, Uzoma said.
“Hospital was
antiseptically clean sterilization stations between every 2 hospital rooms and
I watched as everyone, cleaners, nurses, doctors used them before visiting the
next room. The medical staff was very warm and caring and we put it down to the
fact that they are Indian’s who are noted for their friendliness.
The
doctors couldn’t be better, the hospital was the best, the hotel was very
comfortable, the food – I put on 6 lbs – urgh! the physiotherapists
incredible. AND the wonderful people that came in for the liberation treatment
in India – when we all arrived, we had a dark cloud hanging over us,
but you should have seen the sunshine after. There is nothing more
enlightening than HOPE.”
At the post-op
appointment after liberation treatment in India Uzoma’s surgeon put his laptop
on his desk and slipped in a disc that walked us through her procedure,
pointing out where the blockages were and what balloons were used.
He
then did another Doppler on his and found his blood flowing beautifully, and he
also told her that he should see other changes over the next 2 or 3 months.
This treatment isn’t considered a ‘cure’ for MS, but it does relieve symptoms,
and right now who would want more than that!
He goes back home, happy and healthy. But more than Uzoma, her family is satisfied as after
years of struggle; they are finally successful in recovering him from such mental
anguish. We pay our heartiest gratitude to Dheeraj
Bojwani consultant for helping us so much.
